DPL Champions Wellbeing First with Comprehensive Employee Health Screening

DPL successfully wrapped up its inaugural Alnair employee health screening drive on Friday, September 26, 2025, marking a milestone in the company’s commitment to employee well-being.

Covering Rebels nationwide, the week-long activity aimed to foster a culture of preventive healthcare, empower employees with vital health insights, and reinforce DPL’s belief that a healthier workforce builds a stronger organization.

“DPL takes pride in being a people-centric organization,” commented founder and CEO Syed Ahmad. “That’s why our Alnair isn’t just about ticking boxes and conducting tests; it’s a means to creating a culture where well-being comes first. By investing in preventive care, we empower every Rebel to bring their best selves to work and to life.”

Launched three years ago, Alnair is an exemplary thought leadership initiative. This unique employee medical benefits policy offers DPL Rebels ethical access to healthcare while saving them from morally dubious practices typical to most medical insurance policies.

By the end of the week, the health screening drive managed to test one third of the workforce in both the Islamabad and Karachi offices. By partnering with Chughtai Labs, specialists collected specimens for common health concerns such as Vitamin D deficiency and diabetes.

However, DPL’s efforts were not limited to its offices. Employees who could not attend have the option to submit their samples at the nearest lab. To further extend accessibility, spouses and outstation employees were also included through a convenient home sampling facility.

DPL’s Culture Committee spearheaded the initiative, ensuring everyone was ready for the tests beforehand. A spokesperson commented, “Health is at the heart of a thriving culture. This drive reflects our ongoing commitment to care for every Rebel. And by making wellness accessible nationwide, we’re reinforcing the values of empathy, inclusion, and support that define DPL.”

This employee health screening marks another milestone in DPL’s long-term focus on health, wellness, and preventive care, ensuring every Rebel has the support to thrive both inside and outside of work.
