DPL CEO Joins APO Workshop, Welcomes NPO to Workplace 4.0

DPL’s CEO Syed Ahmad joined a distinguished panel of international IT leaders at a workshop hosted by the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) in collaboration with the National Productivity Organization (NPO).
Led by Mr. Tomoyuki Yamada, Program Officer at APO Tokyo, the four-day event brought together 19 industry experts, policymakers, and practitioners from across the Asia-Pacific region. The theme, Promoting Productivity through Digitalization, focused on how technology can accelerate growth and efficiency.
The APO workshop explored the role of digitalization as a key driver of productivity. Mr. Yamada highlighted challenges such as cybersecurity risks and infrastructure gaps, while emphasizing the importance of collective action to advance digital transformation and inclusive innovation.
Panel discussions further covered the use of AI and digital tools to improve operational efficiency. Experts also shared best practices for implementing digital transformation strategies and building a digital-first, productivity-driven culture.
Representing DPL, a pioneer of Innovation as a Service, Syed Ahmad shared insights on leveraging AI, automation, and smart technologies to transform businesses. DPL’s leadership in driving digital innovation across Pakistan made it a key contributor to the dialogue.

Following the event, Syed Ahmad welcomed the NPO delegation to DPL Headquarters, Workplace 4.0. This marked the NPO’s second visit to DPL, which featured an engaging session that celebrated innovation, collaboration, and workplace productivity, truly reflecting the spirit of Workplace 4.0.
